WHO WE ARE

Hi there...Welcome to Little Readers. We are an Independent Children's Bookshop, coffee shop and creative space in Welling, Kent.

Little Readers started as a pipe dream, after carrying around a crumpled business plan in my handbag for 5 years, I decided to bite the bullet, ditch the 9-5 and pursue my little dream.

My vision was simple, I wanted to combine my love for coffee and children's books. After having my daughter I realised there was nowhere that really encouraged reading and made it fun! Little Readers was born. 

​

Books are at the heart of the shop, with activities being based on books, and events will be organised such as daily story-time. A small play area is also on offer for children to enjoy. Everything is designed to encourage creativity.

Little Readers is for the little dreamer, the little explorer, the little adventurer, the little scientist, the little doctor, the little dancer, the little anything! Let their imagination grow!
